The customs officers found that in 2023, 96 identical cars were imported from the Republic of Belarus by individuals, the utilization fee for which was paid as for cars imported for personal needs. However, the cars were actually imported by a legal entity for their subsequent use as cabs

Physical persons were involved in the process of registration nominally, in order to save money, as the rates of utilization fee when moving vehicles for personal and commercial purposes differ by more than 50 times. After importation and payment of the utilization fee, the vehicles were reissued to the ownership of the company

The legal entity from the city of Tomsk was initiated 3 cases on administrative offenses under Article 19.7.13 of the CAO RF (failure to submit or untimely submission to the customs authority of the statistical form of registration of the movement of goods). The Kemerovo customs office additionally charged more than 17 million rubles of utilization fee. The Tomsk firm paid the amount to the budget of the Russian Federation in full
