More than 250 unlabeled “vapes” were seized from a store in Barnaul

Officers of the department of control over import and turnover of goods of the Altai Customs revealed in a Barnaul store more than 250 units of electronic cigarettes and liquids for “vape” without mandatory labeling and documents confirming the customs declaration of the goods.

The illegally imported foreign-made nicotine-containing products were discovered as part of the control of products on the domestic market together with officers of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Altai Krai

Customs examination has been ordered, the results of which will determine the market value of the goods

The products have been withdrawn from illegal circulation, and the entrepreneur is being investigated

It should be noted that since the beginning of 2024, Altai customs officers have identified more than 2,300 packs of unlabeled tobacco products in the domestic market of the region.
