Customs officers found unlabeled alcohol and cigarettes in four Kuzbass stores

340 unlabeled bottles of strong alcohol were found by Kemerovo customs officers in four retail stores in the town of Taiga.

The inspections, as part of control over the turnover of goods on the domestic market, were carried out in cooperation with officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia’s Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass Directorate and the police

With the help of specialists of the cynological department of Kemerovo Customs and a service dog – a Belgian shepherd dog named Mira – more than 150 liters of illegal alcoholic products were detected: whiskey, cognac, vodka without excise stamps and trade matrix barcodes. In addition, law enforcers found 302 packs of unlabeled cigarettes

All the products were seized by police officers for further procedural decisions.
