Published: March 7, 2024 09:44

At the beginning of the year, 30 shipments of flowers from Yerevan have been delivered to St. Petersburg by air. The largest volume of deliveries came in late February – early March.

From Armenia arrived 13.5 tons of freshly cut floral products. Roses, gerberas, alstromerias, mattiolas and other flowers grown in greenhouses of Transcaucasia are increasingly found on the shelves of flower stores in the Northern Capital and neighboring regions. Compared to the same period last year, the number of deliveries has increased 2 times, and the cargo flow – 2.4 times

In the framework of control of mutual trade with member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Pulkovo customs officers check the information of phytosanitary documents with actually arrived goods. No violations of customs legislation were found in the import of flower products, – said the head of Pulkovo customs Anatoly Timoschenko.
