More than 35 million rubles were paid to the exporting company for evasion of payment of customs duties at export of oil products to Estonia
More than 35 million rubles were paid to the General Director of the Russian company for evasion of payment of customs payments for energy exports to Estonia. The offense showed the staff of the Central energy customs.
In 2019, the exporting company has implemented export of oil products from Ust-Luga port (Leningrad region), declare them as a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons, is not subject to export customs duties. The examination found that the actual product is a residue from refining of crude oil and petroleum products, and its export must be paid customs payments.
On the fact of evasion from payment of customs payments of the Central energy customs has opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 194 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation concerning the General Director of an export company, and in relation to the company, the administrative proceedings on the fact of false Declaration under part 2 of article 16.2 of the administrative code of Russia. The Vyborg city court of Leningrad region applied to the General Director of an export company, the measure of criminal-legal character in the form of court fine.
During the investigation the suspect was compensated in the budget caused the state damages in the amount of 28.3 million rubles., and paid the administrative fine – about 7 million rubles.
