Khakas customs: for excess of norms of import of goods in the MPO need to pay customs duty

Since the beginning of the 2020 customs posts Khakas customs implemented the production of more than 40 international mail (IGOS), coming in the address of inhabitants of Khakassia and the southern districts of the Krasnoyarsk territory (for the entire 2019 – 114). In 30 cases, the cost norms of import of goods for personal use has been exceeded.

Recall that from January 1, 2020 has changed the norms of duty-free importation of goods by international mail. The cost of the contents of one MPO shall not exceed the equivalent of 200 euros. Weight norms have remained the same – no more than 31 kilograms.

Citizens who came of the parcel which exceeded the threshold value, paid customs duties in the amount of 15 % of the value of imported goods in excess cost norms. The total amount of paid customs payments has made more than 90 thousand rubles.

– Customs payments should haveto pay and in the case that the weight of the items in the MPO more than 31 kg: 2 Euro for every kilo over the weight standards, – said the head of Abakan Khakas customs post customs Oleg Pisano.
