Khabarovsk route: to 8 years in prison sentenced “zakladki” drugs in Komsomolsk-on-Amur

The Central district court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur sentenced 30-the summer local resident. He was found guilty of smuggling and selling of drugs in large quantities on the territory of Khabarovsk Krai, and sentenced to 8 years imprisonment in a colony of special regime.

Drug smuggling previously prevented employees of the Khabarovsk customs in the conduct of controlled delivery international parcels arrived from Germany addressed to komsomolkaya. In mail, the customs officers found and seized a narcotic drug MDMA (ecstasy), with a total weight of 54 grams. According to the Russian legislation it is a large size for this type of drug.

It became known that an organized criminal group, which included the convict, was engaged in the sale and distribution of drugs on the territory of Khabarovsk Krai through the “online shop”. The role of men was to receive foreign shipments, packing of drugs and their subsequent marketing with the help of caches, bookmarks.

Employees of the Khabarovsk customs together with employees of the Komsomolsk line Department of the MIA of Russia on transport of operative actions for suppression of activity of “online store”.

The sentence of a court member of the criminal group found guilty of committing a number of crimes under part 1 and part 4 of article 228.1 of the criminal code “Illegal manufacture, sale, or shipment of narcotic drugs….”, part 4 of article 229.1 of the criminal code, “Smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors or analogues, plants containing narcotic drugs…, part 3 of article 30 “Preparation for crime and attempted crime.” The sentence came into legal force and not subject to appeal.

The organizer of the criminal group, already serving a sentence in prison for robbery and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, faces life in prison. The case is under consideration by the Khabarovsk regional court.
