In Ufa customs officers stopped the implementation of half a ton of dried fruits and nuts of unknown origin

In one of the shopping malls of Ufa employees of the Bashkortostan customs in a joint inspection with representatives of territorial administrations of Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor revealed 573 pounds of dried fruits and nuts of unknown origin, no markings and documents.

− Materials of the customs inspection of the premises, which made the sale of produce sent to the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Bashkortostan for the involvement of the individual entrepreneur to administrative responsibility according to part 1 of article 14.43 of the code of administrative offences of Russia “violation of the manufacturer, contractor (the person performing the functions of a foreign manufacturer), the seller of requirements of technical regulations”, − says head of Department of customs control after release of goods of Bashkortostan customs Ruslan Metelev. Sanctions of this article provide for the imposition of an administrative fine on persons engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles.
