Illegal export from Sakhalin fungi fungus turned into two administrative cases
Sakhalin customs initiated administrative proceedings on the facts and fail to declare non-compliance with the prohibitions and restrictions on the export of mushrooms of the fungus.
8 pounds of dried mushrooms, a citizen of the Republic of Korea tried to export from Sakhalin home without documents in November 2019. Examination confirmed that the plant material is chaga mushroom fragments that fall under the special order of movement.
Sakhalin customs filed cases on administrative offences on the facts of not declaring goods and non-compliance with the prohibitions and restrictions on the export of the goods (paragraph 1 of article 16.2, 16.3 of the administrative code). Articles of the penalty, is not excluded confiscation of goods.
Help. Chaga mushroom (or birch mushroom), used in medicinal purposes, falls under a special procedure for the cross-border movement. The removal of individuals of wild live animals and (or) wild plants as goods for personal use carried out in the presence of the conclusion (permission document). (Decision of Board of the Euroasian economic Commission from 21.04.2015 № 30 “About measures of non-tariff regulation”).
The corresponding resolution is issued by the Federal service for supervision in the sphere of nature management (Rosprirodnadzor). In the quality of goods for personal use are permitted to take no more than 3 copies of one species of plants or animals.
