Winter navigation has been completed at the Pokrovka checkpoint in Khabarovsk Krai for the off-season

Pokrovka (Khabarovsk Territory) – Zhaohe (PRC) border crossing point has temporarily suspended clearance of goods, vehicles and passengers from March 24 for the period of the off-season.
Winter navigation at the border crossing point started on December 21, 2023. During this period, customs officers processed more than 10,000 Russian and Chinese citizens (APPG – 453)
The number of goods cleared increased by 54%. Cargo turnover in the import direction was almost 4 thousand tons, in the export direction more than 5 thousand tons. 950 cargo vehicles were cleared, which is more than twice as much as in the last navigation period
The basis of export was timber and frozen products. Imports – consumer goods (clothes, toys for children, furniture, foodstuffs, products for construction and finishing works)
Movement at the border crossing point will resume with the beginning of summer navigation
