Belgorod customs officers opened a case on an administrative offense concerning the citizen of Ukraine for the Declaration and the illegal movement of goods across the customs border of the Russian Federation under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code. He tried to smuggle from the Ukraine into Russia 129 parts intended for aircraft. The market value of these items is three million one hundred eighty-two thousand four hundred ninety-three rubles. That is confirmed by the expert of the Central forensic customs administration.
“The most expensive: pump controller for installation on aircraft engines, the cost 3133060 rubles, and headlamps to illuminate airplane landing strips of airfields, cost 5,900 rubles. The carrier had no documents permitting the import of these products. Thus, the expert concludes that the equipment cannot be installed on aircraft,” explains shift Deputy head of customs post MAPP nekhoteevka Sergey Lebedev.
Smuggled items were found in March this year at the customs post MAPP nekhoteevka. The driver of the passenger bus explained that these parts have forgotten he has an unknown passenger. He moved them in the Luggage compartment, hoping to find the owner of things and give them to him. When carrying out customs and border control bus, EN route from Ukraine – Russia, has raised suspicion among control services at the border. It was decided to carry out customs examination with inspection of the complex to identify dangerous goods. Blackout in the rear part of the bus revealed the presence of undeclared cargo.
The further destiny of the citizen of Ukraine will determine the court.
