Saratov customs officers prevented the export of engines for military equipment worth 25.5 million rubles to Kazakhstan

A mobile group of the Saratov Customs detained a truck transporting 15 diesel engines for BMP-1 and BMP-2 combat vehicles without authorization documents at the Ozinki checkpoint.
The truck was on its way to Kazakhstan. The value of the party is estimated at 25.5 million rubles.
The expert examination established that the detained engines are designed exclusively for military equipment. Their export is restricted and requires special permits of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation;
Saratov Customs initiated an administrative case under Article 16.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to comply with the established prohibitions and restrictions on the export of goods from the Russian Federation). The sanction of the article provides for a fine with possible confiscation of goods;
