About 3 million international postal items pass through the customs control through a dedicated post of Tatarstan customs

Kazan customs post customs post of Tatarstan summed up the results of the 1st quarter of 2020.

In the course of customs control treated 2 919 823 international postage (Q1 2019 – 3 386 732 MPO).

Among the countries of the senders still leads China.

For the three months of the current year customs officers revealed a lot of goods possessing the characteristics prohibited or restricted for delivery. 1 MPO were drugs, having in its composition and psychotropic substance, circulation of which on the territory of the Russian Federation is limited in 5 of MPO were fishing nets, which according to its characteristics and parameters fall into the list of guns catch of aquatic biological resources prohibited from being imported into the customs territory of the EAEU, 12 IGOS contained means of surreptitious obtaining of information, 83 cold weapons (knives, daggers, knuckle dusters, batons, nunchaku), in 536 MPO were goods that had signs of counterfeit (prevailed toys).

Tatarstan customs recalls the norms of duty free import of goods: cost of goods ordered must not exceed EUR 200, and its weight is not more than 31 kg. In case of exceeding the established norms of import shall pay customs duties in the amount of 15% of the value of imported goods, but not less than 2 euros per kilogram of weight in excess cost and/or weight norms.
