During the inspection of the passenger’s hand luggage, customs officers have revealed undeclared currency: 10 thousand U.S. dollars, 76 thousand rubles and 1372 Azerbaijani manat, in the total amount (when translated at the rate of the Central Bank of Russia) 1 150 584 rubles. This is more than 150 thousand rubles more than the norm of export, which, we remind you, should not exceed the amount equivalent to 10 thousand U.S. dollars.

The fact of non-declaration of cash Saratov Customs initiated a case of administrative offense against the passenger under Article 16.4 of the Administrative Code of Russia (non-declaration of cash by individuals). The money, which exceeded the established norm of export, was seized.
