Results of inspection measures by Perm Customs on the domestic market

In the first quarter of 2024, Perm Customs officials, in cooperation with federal executive authorities of the Perm Territory and the Udmurt Republic, conducted 17 measures aimed at identifying unlabeled, sanctioned and counterfeit products in the domestic consumer market.

At the end of the first quarter of 2024, Perm Customs officials, in cooperation with federal executive authorities of the Perm Territory and the Udmurt Republic, conducted 17 measures aimed at identifying unlabeled, sanctioned and counterfeit products in the domestic consumer market

The results of these measures revealed:

– more than 18 thousand units of unlabeled products (tobacco products). The results are comparable to the same period of the last year;

– more than 2 tons of fruit and tobacco products

– more than 2 tons of unlabeled fruit and vegetable products (fruits and vegetables). In the same period last year – 1.1 tons. The products were withdrawn from trade turnover;

– 7 thousand units of counterfeit products (detergents, tobacco products) with applied trademarks. In the same period last year – 1 thousand units.

– Conducting inspections of counterfeit products

-Checking activities in the domestic market are carried out on a regular basis, as the presence of products in trade circulation without labeling and shipping documents can pose a threat to the health of citizens,” explained Pavel Terekhov, deputy head of Perm Customs Service
