Business problems are being solved: the Ural Customs Directorate held a meeting with a member of the Public Council under the Federal Customs Service of Russia

The head of the Ural Customs Directorate, Alexei Frolov, held a working meeting with Sergei Ushakov, a member of the Public Council of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The parties discussed topical issues of interaction in the sphere of foreign economic activity, prospects of work in the conditions of external sanctions pressure and measures of business support
The following priority issues were not left unattended: finalization of the Federal Law in terms of mandatory requirements for the equipment of temporary storage facilities, implementation of the provisions of the Government of the Russian Federation from 21.09.2023 № 1538 in terms of goods not exported before October 01, 2023. In addition, the questions received by the member of the Public Council from business were considered: on offsetting the amount of collateral in the fulfillment of the obligation to pay customs duties and determining the period for the calculation of penalties
“We are building a partnership with the business community, so the main task in our work is to improve the system of providing public services to participants of foreign economic activity, promptly resolve emerging issues and reduce the burden on representatives of the business community. To get feedback, we use all available mechanisms and platforms,” emphasized Alexei Frolov, Head of the Ural Customs Directorate
