A regular container train with Chelyabinsk export products for the People’s Republic of China has been sent to the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port. Electronic declaration centers carried out customs clearance of 70 large-tonnage containers with peas. The cargo with a total weight of 1800 tons was formed by LLC “Yuzhnouralsky Dry Port” – a subsidiary of JSC “GTLC”, using the infrastructure of the Transport and Logistics Complex “Yuzhnouralsky”. This is the first export of food products (husked peas) in 2024.

“Currently, almost all commodity shipments are declared using remote release technology. This technology makes it possible to make a decision on consignments of goods taking into account the actual location of goods in another customs authority. In this case, the goods were located in the area of Chelyabinsk Customs, and the goods declaration was submitted to the Ural Customs Post (electronic declaration center) located in Yekaterinburg. Thus, thanks to the electronic declaration system, customs operations are optimized for foreign trade participants, costs are reduced, and the time of customs operations and control is shortened,” comments Acting Head of Chelyabinsk Customs Andrei Gursky

From the Chelyabinsk region previously shipped container trains to a number of countries, such as: China, Vietnam, Korea, India and Saudi Arabia. The trains transported agricultural products and glass insulators
