Tyumen customs officers stopped the illegal import of 25 kg of nasvay

Since the beginning of 2024, Tyumen customs officers have seized 25 kilograms of smokeless tobacco product – nasvay, which is twice as much as in the same period last year
Customs officers initiated 26 cases on administrative offenses on the facts of its illegal movement
The most of the tobacco mixture was seized at the customs post of Nizhnevartovsk Airport – almost 16 kilograms. Mostly nasvay is brought from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan
“In accordance with the current legislation, any citizen who has reached the age of 18 can import tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, products with heated tobacco, tobacco) with a total weight of not more than 250 grams into the customs territory of the EAEU for personal purposes,” explained Tatiana Sergienko, head of the customs post at Nizhnevartovsk Airport.

We remind you that nasvay, like other tobacco products, causes irreparable damage to health and increases the risk of cancer
