The trade turnover of the Volga Federal district in January-February 2020 amounted to 6 677 561,2 thousand dollars. Compared to the same period of 2019 turnover decreased slightly. (7 132 721,4 thousand U.S. dollars in 2019).
Exports amounted to 4 687 594,1 thousand dollars. It decreased in comparison with figures of last year by 11%.
In the commodity structure of export value, mainly dominated by mineral products fuel and energy products chemical products, rubber.
Import in January-February 2020 amounted to 1989967,1 thousand dollars. It increased by 5% .
In the commodity structure of imports was dominated by machinery, equipment and vehicles chemical products, rubber, and metals and products from them.
The trade turnover with far abroad countries was 5 288 743 thousand dollars.

The trade turnover of the Nizhny Novgorod region in January-February 2020 rose 8% and amounted to 1 145 017,6 thousand dollars.
Exports amounted to 667 235,3 thousand dollars. Compared to the same period of 2019, exports increased by 4%.
Import in January-February 2020 amounted to 477 782,3 thousand dollars. It increased by 13%.
