The chief of the Siberian customs Department appointed Alexander Hawks
Alexander Yastrebov was born in Pskov region in 1970. He graduated from the Velikie Luki state Institute of physical culture in 1995, Russian customs Academy in 2001, Saint-Petersburg University of MIA of Russia in 2009.
In customs bodies since 1992. In the period from 1992 to 2005, he held various positions in the Pskov customs of the North-Western customs administration. In 2006-2009 headed Velikie Luki, Vologda and then customs SZTU.
From 2009 to 2015 – the chief of the Astrakhan customs of the southern customs Directorate, from October 2015 – the head of the Vyborg customs North-West customs administration.
From 6 July 2020 appointed chief of the Siberian customs Department.

Has the Honorary title “Honoured customs officer of the Russian Federation”. He was awarded medals “For service in customs authorities” III, II and I degrees; medal “Dmitry Bibikov”, medal “For strengthening customs cooperation” and the badge “For special merits”.
