In 2023, based on the materials of the anti-corruption units of the Southern Technical University, investigative authorities of the region initiated 25 criminal cases, including 22 corruption cases (15 criminal cases – against customs officials and employees, 7 – against bribe-givers).

According to the results of the investigation of criminal cases initiated on the materials of anti-corruption units of the Southern Technical University, last year the courts passed 6 guilty verdicts. 2 officials were convicted for fraud with the use of official position, 1 official – for receiving a bribe in a significant amount, 2 bribe-givers – for attempt to give small bribes to officials, 1 – for attempt to give a bribe to an official for committing knowingly illegal actions, 1 person – for mediation in bribery
The work on combating corruption is an important area of activity of customs authorities and is carried out on a systematic basis
