Crimean customs officers have handed over a Bentley Turbo R car detained for violating the rules of importation into the territory of the EAEU to the state. The amount of debt on customs payments and penalties payable amounted to 4.6 million rubles

The 1990-built American car was imported to Russia from Massachusetts by a US citizen back in 2015 through the Dzhankoy checkpoint. Under the terms of temporary importation, it had to be exported within a year or placed under another procedure (for example, release for domestic consumption)

Customs officers found that the owner of the vehicle had left the country, leaving it for use by a trusted person in Crimea.
