Employees of the Siberian Electronic Customs revealed smuggling of timber worth 5.7 million rubles

A resident of the Krasnoyarsk region, who has experience in timber export, is suspected of smuggling strategically important resources. For this purpose, he specially registered a sole proprietorship, and in order to give the appearance of legality of his activities with lumber materials, the legal origin of which was not confirmed by documents, the attacker entered false information into the information portal of timber accounting and transactions with it “LesEGAIS”
The Siberian Electronic Customs Service initiated 2 criminal cases against the entrepreneur, the responsibility for which is stipulated in part 1 of Art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code. 1 article 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, on the fact of illegal movement of strategically important goods and resources.
