More than 5.5 million pieces of flowers were cleared by Siberian customs officers

Since the beginning of 2024, Siberian customs officers have processed the import of more than 360 tons of imported flower products. This is more than 5.5 million pieces of flowers of various varieties. Compared to January-February last year, the weight of deliveries increased 1.8 times
In February, Siberian entrepreneurs brought in the bulk of flower cargoes before March 8 – more than 240 tons
Over 65% of the physical volume of flowers imported since the beginning of the year (242.5 tons) were roses, as well as tulips (57 tons), chrysanthemums (23 tons), carnations, lilies, orchids, ranunculus, alstroemeria.
For the most part, Siberian businessmen imported flowers before March 8
Flowers grown in Ecuador are mainly imported to Siberia (increase in the volume of supplies compared to the same period last year in 4.4 times), as well as Kenya and Colombia. Flowers from the Netherlands and Uzbekistan are also imported to our region
