STU experts will hold round tables for business on the basis of customs offices in the regions

Experts of the STU Federal Customs Revenue Service will hold a number of thematic meetings for business and the business community at the sites of Siberian customs during 2024. The topics of the events have been chosen taking into account the questions received from foreign trade participants, as well as the industry focus of systemically important enterprises in the regions

Thus, on March 14, 2024 on the basis of Altai Customs, experts of STU will make presentations and answer questions from business representatives on control of customs value of exported goods, classification of goods in accordance with the HS of the EAEU. The event is invited, among others, participants of foreign economic activity from the agrarian sector, as well as representatives of enterprises engaged in mutual trade with the EEU member states

The calendar of events for 2024 also includes meetings aimed at informing about changes in customs legislation with timber exporters, representatives of research organizations, metallurgical complex and chemical industry enterprises. The topics will include currency control in the export of timber and timber products, the peculiarities of classification of timber products in accordance with the EEU HS, the procedure and advantages of obtaining preliminary decisions on the classification of goods in accordance with the EEU HS, the peculiarities of confirming the origin of preferential goods. It will be possible to take part in the round tables in person, in the studio of the customs of STU, or via video link. Announcements will be posted on the website of the Siberian Customs Directorate
