Omsk customs informs about the ban on the import into Russia of certain types of fuel
Omsk customs draws the attention of traders and other stakeholders that from June 2 to October 1, 2020 shall enter into force a ban on the import into the Russian Federation of certain types of fuel (Decree of the RF Government dated 22.05.2020 № 732 “On introduction of temporary ban on import into the Russian Federation of certain types of fuel”).
The ban applies to certain types of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, gas oil, etc. (total 19 items under the HS code of the EAEU position 2710).
There were cases, when the prohibition does not apply to these fuels.
Please note that in accordance with article 16.3 of the administrative code, the prohibitions and (or) restrictions on import of goods into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union or the Russian Federation shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount from one thousand to two thousand five hundred roubles with confiscation of the goods which are the subjects of the administrative offence, or without that or confiscation of subjects of an administrative offence; on officials – from five thousand to twenty thousand roubles; on legal entities – from fifty thousand to three hundred thousand roubles with confiscation of the goods which are the subjects of the administrative offense, or without that or confiscation of subjects of an administrative offense.
