In the period of the limitations associated with the danger of the spread of novel coronavirus infection, Novosibirsk customs to ensure the smooth clearance of goods transported. All customs posts operate in the normal mode, with observance of necessary epidemic prevention measures.
From January to may 2020 Novosibirsk customs transferred to the Federal budget of 2.2 billion rubles, almost the same as in the same period of 2019 (2.3 billion rubles).
During this period, customs posts decorated almost 16.5 thousand goods declarations. Of them automatically was 4.4 per thousand of the declarations for the exported goods and 7,4 thousand of declarations for imported goods.
Thus, an increase in the number of automatically registered and automatically released declarations.
The head of Novosibirsk customs Sergey Avdeev: “Thanks to the targeted efforts of automation of processes in the activities of customs, the share of declarations registered with customs inspectors has grown compared with the same period of 2019 for exports from 79% to 83 %, import – from 30% to 74 % (an increase of more than 2 times). This helps to reduce the time of clearance of goods, reduce business costs and risks of corruption”.
