First Deputy Head of Dagestan Customs Gajiramazan Islamov took part in the Caspian International Digital Forum

In the framework of the plenary meeting “International transport  corridor “North-South”: present and future” Gajiramazan Dzhabrailovich made a report, in which he voiced proposals to improve control at checkpoints on the state border, including those related to the need to provide preliminary information on rail transport, recognition of civil liability insurance of cargo vehicles of international transportation by the countries-participants of ITC “North-South”, and proposed ways to implement them. He also noted that one of the important issues, which serves to speed up the passage of goods through checkpoints, is to optimize the interaction of customs authorities with other state control bodies, by making all operations using the principle of “one window”

“The development of the North-South ITC is not only about roads and arrangement of checkpoints, but also about reducing the time of goods and vehicles at checkpoints, taking into account the economic security of the state and protection of national interests of the Russian Federation,” Islamov emphasized

We recall that the two-day forum was held in Kaspiysk. It was attended by about 600 people. Among them were representatives of the leadership of the Republic of Dagestan, the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Dagestan, as well as representatives of other ministries and departments, large companies, republics of the North Caucasus Federal District, Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, Astrakhan, Voronezh regions, foreign delegations from Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan
