More than 5.7 billion rubles transferred to the budget of Russia, the Buryat customs in the 1st quarter of 2020

More than 5.7 billion rubles transferred to the budget of the Russian Federation Buryat customs in the 1st quarter of 2020. Foreign trade turnover in the region of customs activities amounted to 497,1 million US dollars.

Compared to the same period last year the trade turnover increased by 22.3% due to the increase in the value of imports, accounting for more than 80% of the total turnover.

Foreign trade operations in the region of activity of customs was carried out by 364 companies, 106 of which are registered in tax bodies of the Republic of Buryatia.

Trade was carried out with 52 countries near and far abroad. The most active trade was traditionally conducted with China, which accounts for almost 70% of foreign trade turnover.

Among export traders of goods was dominated by: machinery, equipment, vehicles – more than 70%, wood and pulp and paper products is 17.5%, food products and agricultural raw materials – is 5.7%.

Among the imported goods: engineering products – 81.7 per cent, chemical products – by 14.6%.
