Chelyabinsk customs officers prevented three thousand liters of disinfectant

Chelyabinsk customs officers detained on the border with Kazakhstan 3 thousand liters of disinfectants. The removal of another batch of medical supplies were stopped together with the Border control service of FSB of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region.

120 cans of 25 liters was detained at the checkpoint through the state border “Bumpy” (Chelyabinsk region). Disinfectants were brought from Kotelnikov (Moscow oblast) to Pavlodar (Republic of Kazakhstan).

At the moment the goods seized, instituted administrative proceedings under article 16.3 of the administrative code. The sanction of article provides for imposition of penalty with confiscation.

“In total since the beginning of March, mobile teams have identified 5 765 litres of antiseptic and disinfectants”, – said Denis Tsymbal, head of the customs control after release of goods of the Chelyabinsk customs.

HELP:

Since March, Russia has a temporary ban on the export of certain types of medical devices: bandages, gauze, gloves, cotton wool, masks and filters for them, disinfectant and antiviral agents, Shoe covers, chemical protective suits, respirators, medical gowns, as well as other means of antiviral nature. The prohibition does not apply to funds for personal use and humanitarian aid.
