A criminal case for steroids

On 21 April as a result quickly-search actions by employees of the Samara customs detained a citizen of the Russian Federation on the fact of illegal movement across the State border of the Russian Federation of potent substances.

During carrying out quickly-search actions it is established that the detainee had ordered the steroids through the Internet from Belarus to Orenburg.

According to the obtained expert opinion the seized drugs in glass vials contain potent substances: testosterone propianat, testosterone ananthan, testosterone decanoate, nandrolone decanoate, boldenone undecylenate. The total weight of banned steroids from 17.63 oz.

Samara customs in respect of a citizen a criminal case under part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code. Liability under this article provides imprisonment for the term from three till seven years with a fine in the amount up to one million rubles or the salary or other income condemned for the period till five years or without such and with restriction of liberty for a term up to one year or without such.

At present investigative actions are carried out.
