In the course of customs control at the automobile checkpoint «Ozinki» mobile group of Saratov Customs, employees of the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor, Border Department of the Federal Security Service in the Saratov and Samara regions stopped the importation into Russia of 3200 kg of frozen fish, which was transported in violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements.
There was no freezing equipment in the car, due to which the necessary temperature regime was violated. The veterinary accompanying documents did not contain complete information. In addition, there was no labeling on the cargo. As a result of the inspection, the Rosselkhoznadzor representative decided to return the cargo to the place of departure.
