Ignorance of the law is no excuse

Mobile group of the Samara customs office in cooperation with the staff of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Orenburg region in the area of the checkpoint “Mashtakova” stopped the car Scania, EN route from Moscow to Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan).

During the inspection of documents established that the vehicle was transported for medical gauze in the amount of 20 coils with a weight of 580 kg forbidden for export from Russia. According to the consignor and the transport company, on the ban on the export of medical gauze did not know.

For violation of the Protocol on an administrative offense under article 16.3 of the administrative code, the case is directed to court for application of confiscation.

Samara customs once again reminds us of the temporary ban on the export from the Russian Federation of products according to the List approved by RF Government decree from 02.03.2020, No. 223, namely essential medical products, chemical and biological protection, disinfectants according to the established list.
