For violation of the rules of temporary import of two cars will be transferred to the state income

In the first half of 2020 Mineralovodsky customs detained two illegally imported car. The total amount of unpaid customs payments exceeds 400 thousand roubles.

In Ingushetia, the police stopped to check a BMW. As it turned out, the car was assigned to a room from the GAS-5204, and the driver had no documents for the car. The car was detained, and the materials sent to check in Mineralovodsky customs. Customs officers have established that the BMW was introduced in Russia in February 25, 2006 for a period of one month, after which had to be removed.

Another German car was detained in the Chechen Republic. Volkswagen Passat c Turbo Belarusian numbers stopped to check. It turned out that the license plate belongs to a VAZ-2106 and a certificate of registration of the vehicle fake. On the territory of the Eurasian economic Union the car was temporarily imported from Sweden in 2012, and then forged documents sold to a resident of the Chechen Republic.

Both cars are detained. Vehicle owners refused to make the law their car, which now will be transferred to the territorial divisions of Rosimushchestvo in the Chechen Republic and Ingushetia Republic for implementation in the state.

Background: In accordance with article 264 of the Customs code of the EAEU period of temporary import of foreign natural persons for personal use vehicles registered in a state other than a member, may not exceed one year. Transfer of temporarily imported vehicles of the physical person of member state of the EEU without customs Declaration is allowed with the permission of the customs authority subject to the enforcement of the obligation to pay customs duties and taxes.

For violation of the rules of temporary importation of vehicles provides for administrative liability established by part 1 of article 16.18 (failure to export by physical persons of temporarily imported vehicles within the established deadlines) and part 2 of article 16.24 (transfer of rights of use or other disposal of temporarily imported by physical persons of vehicles) of the Russian code of administrative offences. Sanctions of these articles in addition to the imposition of an administrative penalty and provide for the confiscation of the vehicle.
