Flowers for the holiday for lovely women

On the eve of International women’s day the demand for flower production increases tenfold.

Cut flowers and flower buds suitable for bouquets or for ornamental purposes (both, fresh and dried) are subject to phytosanitary control.

Beautiful and fragrant – all the flowers are first put through a compulsory phytosanitary and customs control.

The task of pest control is preventing the spread and introduction across national boundaries of pests of plants and plant products.

Organized work of competent institutions is a guarantee of quality coming for the holiday floral products.

International women’s day, March 8, through customs North-West customs administration imported 734 tonnes of cut flowers from all over the world: roses, gerberas, chrysanthemums, carnations, Lisianthus. The main countries of origin of fresh flowers, imported in 2020, are Ecuador, Israel, Colombia and Kenya.

Help:

Napomnim that individuals without the submission of a phytosanitary certificate, you can import not more than 3 bouquets (up to 15 components for each). While potted plants are of the planting material, therefore their importation is possible only in the presence of phytosanitary documents.

Information on movement across the customs border of the EEU objects subject to phytosanitary control can be found on the official website of Rosselkhoznadzor http://www.fsvps.EN.
