More than 15 thousand inspections with the use of IDK were conducted by Chita customs officers in 2023

15204 inspections of vehicles using inspection and inspection complexes (IDC) were conducted by Chita customs officers in 2023, which is 55% more than in 2022. Based on the results of the inspections, the customs initiated 362 cases of administrative offenses.

Customs officers detected a total of more than 429 tons  of goods imported from the PRC in violation of customs rules. These are mainly industrial and consumer goods (manicure equipment, cosmetic brushes, tourist tents, lamps, ATVs, bearings, footwear, toys, furniture, etc.)

In all cases Chita Customs initiated cases on administrative offenses, participants of foreign economic activity were brought to responsibility under articles 16.1 (part 3) (reporting to the customs authority false information about the number of cargo places), 16.2 (part 1) (non-declaration of goods) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
