In 2023in Primorye automobile checkpoints Ussuriysk customs officers processed more than one million tons of imported goods, which became a record value. This was reported by the head of Ussuriysk customs Alexei Kuzmin at a meeting with owners of temporary storage warehouses.
Total cargo turnover through road checkpoints of Primorye in 2023 increased by more than 60%. Ussuriysk Customs transferred 1.6 billion rubles of customs and other payments to the federal budget
The load on temporary storage warehouses has also increased: 82% of goods imported in 2023 through road checkpoints in Primorsky Krai were placed at border temporary storage warehouses. All warehouses comply with the established requirements, fulfill the customs recommendations on equipment and facilities. In addition, the bonded warehouses have high-quality video systems with video output to customs checkpoints and the customs office
In 2023, the Ussuriysk customs post continued to increase the declaration of goods transported by individuals in express cargo. Ussuriysk customs cleared 7162 tons of goods purchased by citizens for personal use in online stores, worth more than 42.8 billion rubles. This exceeded the figures for 2022 by 3 times – by weight and 5 times – by value.

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of further improving the work of bonded warehouses, ensuring their activities in order to carry out customs operations within the time limits provided for by the EEU law and the Russian legislation on customs regulation
Alexei Kuzmin thanked the guests for their participation in the meeting, and also expressed his gratitude for the high level of organization of work in the field of customs and invaluable contribution to the development of foreign economic activity in the region
