A mobile customs team in Novozybkovsky district of Bryansk region stopped trucks traveling from  the Republic of Belarus to Nizhny Novgorod. According to the documents, the drivers were transporting sauerkraut and baby diapers, but when customs officers inspected the vehicles, they found boxes of pears behind the dense rows of kegs and boxes

The drivers were unable to provide phytosanitary certificates and other documents confirming the legality of importation of goods and guaranteeing the safety and quality of products for consumers,” explained Pavel Kharitonov, acting deputy head of Bryansk customs. -the issue of initiating administrative cases for non-compliance with prohibitions and restrictions on the import of goods is being resolved.
