At the customs post MAPP Nizhny Zaramag seized tobacco products

On February 24 within the framework of implementation of operational information the staff of the North Ossetian customs have stopped attempt of illegal importation of the consignment of tobacco products at the customs post MAPP Nizhny Zaramag.

Tobacco products moved a Russian citizen with concealment from customs control in specially equipped hiding place in the bottom of the car “Volkswagen – the Conveyor”. The result of this inspection, were identified cigarette brand “Instars” in the amount of 8 990 packs (179 800 cigarettes).

Currently assessed value of the delayed goods, with the aim of establishing evidence of a crime, responsibility for which is provided by article 194 and article 200.2 of the criminal code. Until the investigation of the seized goods and the vehicle is placed in a zone of customs control checkpoint Nizhny Zaramag.
