“Magic beans” with sibutramine

Employees of the Volga operational customs initiated a criminal case against the resident of Nizhny Novgorod on the fact of contraband of potent substances.

Nizhegorodka ordered via the Internet drug for weight loss “Magic beans”. During carrying out quickly-search actions it was detained by employees of Privolzhsky operative customs when receiving international mail from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The study showed the presence of the drug “Magic beans” potent substance sibutramine, a total weight of 8.64 grams.

Sibutramine is included in the List of drugs approved by the Decree of the RF Government of 29 December 2007, No. 964.

Volga operational customs in respect of the citizen criminal case on signs of the crime provided by part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “Contraband of drugs”. This article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to seven years.
