In Ufa customs officers found more than two tonnes of unlabelled dried fruits and nuts

Employees of the Bashkortostan customs, together with the Ufa transport Prosecutor’s office, the Departments of Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor for Republic of Bashkortostan in the course of verification activities on the territory of a large wholesale fruit and vegetable base identified a shipment of dried fruits and vegetables different names, without identification or labelling, intended for sale. The total weight of illegal goods amounted to 2385 pounds.

Materials customs control in respect of the individual entrepreneur, carrying out sales of products directed to the transport office of public Prosecutor for the decision of a question on its attraction to administrative responsibility according to part 1 of article 43 of the code of administrative offences of Russia “violation of the manufacturer, contractor (the person performing the functions of a foreign manufacturer), the seller of requirements of technical regulations”. Sanctions of this article provide for the imposition of an administrative fine on persons engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles, − said the head of the Department of customs control after release of goods of the Bashkortostan customs Ruslan Metelev.
