Service dog helped find 210 packs of cigarettes, who tried to carry on himself the inhabitant of Abkhazia.
In the past week, almost every day of the Sochi customs officers stopped new attempts to illegally move cigarettes from Abkhazia to Russia for the pedestrian component of the customs post MAPP Adler Sochi customs.
Thus, in the course of customs control of individuals, following from Abkhazia to Russia, the service dog of cynological Department of customs Australian shepherd named Soleil Noir, their behavior has indicated the possible presence of illegal product from one of the citizens passing along the “green corridor”. The use of x-ray scanner for personal inspection was revealed a dark area, not related to the human body. During the inspection it was established that under my jacket and upper clothing on the woman’s body with adhesive tape was fixed to 110 packs of cigarettes.
On the same day, some time later, the dog again indicated the possible presence of illicit goods from another citizen held in the “green corridor” from Abkhazia to Russia. During the inspection, this woman was discovered on the body, under the skirt and shirt 10 cartons of cigarettes (100 packs).
In the following days, in the course of customs control was stopped by two women and two men, the amounts and proportions of the human body which caused suspicion among customs officers. One of the women tried to smuggle 50 cartons of cigarettes on the body under clothing, and also specially equipped for these purposes, the vest has slits for forming a hidden cavity. Another citizen was trying to hide 120 packs of cigarettes in the lining of the coat.
One of the men had cigarettes in the amount of 14 units and 7 of the packs were found on the body and jacket, around the perimeter which was made of special sections. Another man also built a hiding place in the jacket, making it an incisions in the side pockets in the cavity which hid 11 cartons of cigarettes.
Tobacco products moved to implement in Sochi. Some of these people commit such offenses again.

From the beginning of 2020 on the facts of illegal movement of tobacco products across the customs border of the EEU initiated more than 107 cases of administrative offenses, from them 22 cases – on the facts of movement of cigarettes with concealment.
