From 1 July to Kemerovo customs will join the Tomsk customs

From 1 July 2020 Tomsk customs will be reorganized by joining the Kemerovo customs. The corresponding order was signed on 26 December 2019 Director of the Federal customs service of Russia Vladimir Bulavina. The decision was made in order to improve the structure and efficiency of customs authorities, located in the Siberian Federal district.

All customs posts of the Tomsk customs: asinovskiy, Tomsk and the Center of electronic Declaration will be reassigned to the Kemerovo customs without changing their location and region activities.

While the administrative functions associated with the customs Declaration of goods and vehicles in the Tomsk region passed into the management of the Kemerovo customs. Customs posts will be assigned a new departmental codes:

– 10608090 – asinovskiy customs post of the Kemerovo customs;

– 10608110 – Tomsk customs post of the Kemerovo customs;

– 10608100 – Tomsk customs post (CED) of the Kemerovo customs.

All planned organizational events will be held in strict compliance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation. The chief of the Kemerovo customs, Andrey Poletayev said: “In order to preserve personnel potential for events to reform the system of customs bodies officials occupying positions of the state civil service of the Tomsk customs proposed to replace the post of the Kemerovo customs and e-customs Siberian (Krasnoyarsk)”.

The reorganization of the Tomsk customs and some other customs of Russia began the next stage of improving the system of customs administration through the introduction of new digital information technologies. This process started in the Tomsk customs in 2013, when on the basis of Seversky customs post was opened in the Center of electronic Declaration (CED). Opening of new structural units of the customs allowed the participants of foreign economic activity to carry out the Declaration of goods using the Internet on the technology of remote release from almost any region of the SFO.

Today in the conditions of reforming of customs authorities of Russia, a unified network of electronic customs with e-Declaration, which aims to optimize and automate the processes the customs Declaration, to translate them into higher quality digital level, contributing to speeding up and simplifying foreign trade.
