19 foreigners prosecuted Buryat customs in 2019 for violation of the procedure of temporary importation of vehicles

In 2019 the Buryat customs found 19 violations of temporary importation of private vehicles registered in foreign countries: 18 facts of violations of the terms of temporary admission and one case of illegal transfer of temporarily imported vehicle for use to another person. All the facts prosecuted on administrative offences imposed fines, in 3 cases the cars confiscated.

Only in 2019 through road crossings of the Buryat customs were temporarily imported, more than 90 thousand vehicles for personal use. 1120 foreign nationals have been refused temporary admission of non-compliance with conditions of temporary importation.
