Products of the Urals flour and cereal industry are also popular with the Celestial Empire: in the first two months of 2024, 5.5 thousand tons of flour and cereals were exported to China.

The Urals’ flour and cereal industry is also growing in demand in China

Chinese demand for sunflower, rapeseed and soybean oil produced in the Urals is also growing. This year about 11 thousand tons of vegetable oils have been shipped to Chinese consumers

China was our largest partner in terms of trade turnover and before the global changes in the world. Neither pandemic-related restrictive measures nor sanctions pressure have displaced this country from its leading position. However, we note that if earlier we used to speak more often about export of metals, now we have started to export products along with traditional goods for the Urals. This shows that our enterprises are reaching new capacities and the quality of their products meets world standards,” said Alexei Frolov, Head of the Urals Customs Directorate
