The Pskov customs officers found the “extra” wine

False Declaration of imported goods identified in the customs post MAPP (multilateral automobile checkpoint) Burachki Pskov customs at the Russian-Latvian border.

The vehicle with the product resulted from the Republic of Latvia. The recipient of the goods – organization registered in Moscow.

In submitted to the customs authority the accompanying documents contained information about floating wine total gross weight of kg. 19799 Customs inspection revealed a discrepancy between the declared weight of transported goods with actual. The increase amounted to 708 kg. gross.

The “extra” product is withdrawn and sent for safekeeping. Against the carrier filed a criminal case on an administrative offense under part 3 of article 16.1 of the code of administrative offences of the Russian Federation on the basis of a report to the customs body of inaccurate information on the weight of the goods at arrival on customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union. The investigation is being conducted.
