Smuggling of more than 2.5 thousand pairs of shoes stopped Ussuri customs
2579 pairs of shoes imported from China in violation of customs rules, confiscated the officials of the Ussuri customs post Ussuri customs. The value of the undeclared shoes amounted to 3.7 million rubles.
A Russian company filed a customs Declaration, saying it more than 13 tons of footwear (men’s shoes, boots spring and autumn female summer shoes). After customs inspection, Ussuri customs found that of 2.08 tons, and is 2579 pairs of shoes, not declared. So the importing company is trying to save on customs payments.
The goods seized and placed in temporary storage.
Ussuri customs office against the company criminal case concerning an administrative offense under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code – failure to declare goods. The company faces a penalty of up to two times the value of the goods and their confiscation.
