Saint-Petersburg customs: 544 liters of Italian wine and 18 liters of olive oil were not stated in the customs Declaration

Saint-Petersburg customs prevented smuggling from Estonia of alcohol and olive oil of Italian manufacture.

During the event at the customs control, officials of the southern customs office together with employees of the law enforcement unit of the St. Petersburg customs found that instead of the declared goods, the carrier is moved through the customs border of the 84 cans of 5 liters of wine “red”, 23 cans of 5 liters of wine of “white”, 12 bottles 0.75 ml of wine “red” and 6 cans of 3 liters of olive oil. The total volume of illegally transported goods amounted to 544 litres of alcohol and 18 liters of oil.
