Foreign trade turnover in the region of SZTU in 2019 amounted to 63 billion 845 million dollars. The volume of exports to $ 20 billion 343 million U.S. dollars, imports – 43 billion 502 million dollars. The ratio of exports and imports in the trade turnover amounted to 32:68.
In 2019, trade was carried out with 212 countries in the world. The top ten countries – major trade partners, accounting for 58% of turnover SZTU. Largest trading partners – China, Germany, Finland.
The number of partner countries in the export of SZTU – 174. The basic countries – contractors in the export: the Netherlands (13%), Finland (11.4 per cent), China (7.2 per cent).
In exports the share of metals and products from them amounted to 31.1%, products of chemical industry – 22,7%, wood, pulp and paper products – 19,9%.
The number of partner countries in imports SZTU – 192. The basic countries – partners in import: China (24.6 per cent), Germany (7.7 per cent), Japan (4.5 percent). In import the share of machinery, equipment and vehicles – 40,7%, food products – 18.8 per cent, chemical products at 17.8%.
The number of subjects of foreign economic activity (FEA) in 2019 increased by 3.1% and amounted to 20 380 traders. Exported goods 5397 traders (+5,8%), imported – 16 929 traders (+2,5%).
