Perm custom on automated production of electronic transit declarations

From 2019 all Russian competent customs authorities implemented the technology of automatic registration of electronic transit Declaration when goods are placed under the customs procedure of customs transit.

Successful completion of automatic registration of electronic transit declarations is one of the conditions of automated production of electronic transit declarations.

At the present time in Russia the technology of automated production of electronic transit declarations used in 60 of the customs bodies defined as pilot areas. In the future this technology is planned to be implemented in all authorized customs authorities, including in the Perm customs.

Automated production of electronic transit declarations in the initial phase is used when goods are conveyed by railway transport and road transport in cases where the declarant of the goods acts as a customs carrier or authorized economic operator.

Introduction of automated production of electronic transit declarations will significantly reduce the period of placement of goods under the customs procedure of customs transit.
