Northwest customs officials meet with RTA students

Customs chiefs and their deputies spoke to the students about the opportunities to join the service, its benefits and features, and shared interesting stories from their work experience.

The meeting was attended by students from various departments, both freshers and future graduates.

For them, the staff prepared presentations and videos about the activities of the customs authorities of the North-West Customs Directorate, where the main emphasis is placed on the current challenges and tasks facing the modern customs structure.

All the speakers expressed their hope that the meeting was useful and informative for the students, as they had the opportunity to gain valuable experience with professionals and learn more about the specifics of customs

Olga Shemyakina, deputy head of the department and head of the personnel service of the North-West Federal Customs Service, noted that nowadays customs is constantly replenished with young specialists who join the service immediately after graduation. Therefore, all necessary conditions have been created at workplaces for successful adaptation of new employees

After the presentation, the students were able to ask questions about employment and practice, as well as discuss aspects of the job
